All Good Things Must Start at the End

by Chris on June 9, 2010

Okay, maybe not all good things, but a lot of good things. And I’ll define the end, in this case, as change. New direction, new goals, and new purpose. Think back to that feeling you got when you left the classroom after a final exam, or when you were exuberant about leaving a miserable job. That feeling is what I’m talking about. Change breeds progress, and we get excited about forward motion in life.

Mahatma Gandhi said to “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” The clutch word there is be.

We have to create our own ends as much as we have to start our beginnings. We have to know when to move, because standing still is just that. Everyone is capable of greatness… it just comes down to a decision. And the difference between ideas and action is motion.
